Benedictine Place, AL1 3WA, PulsaCoil 2000 Replacement Case Study
Miss A first contacted The Plumbing Group Limited when she was informed by her tenants that they were without hot water. Our engineers headed out to the property to take a look at the boiler. They quickly found that the unit had a split cylinder. When this is the case the unit is deemed beyond economical repair and has to be replaced. Luckily, a temporary fix was able to be done until the new boiler could be fitted.
Miss A opted for a Fabdec ThermaCoil replacement as opposed to a new PulsaCoil PCS. The Thermacoil runs off of a single mechanical blending valve while the PulsaCoil has many more parts to it. This includes a Printed Circuit Board, Pump, Sensors and Relays. As a result, the ThermaCoil is a far less complicated system, especially in terms of long term maintenance.
Firstly, the engineers removed the existing unit and made sure to dispose of it correctly. They then installed the new ThermaCoil. They made sure to show Miss A how to maintain and operate her new boiler for future reference. In total, the job was completed in under four hours and the tenants were very happy to once again have hot water.
The new ThermaCoil comes with a 10 Year Manufacturers cylinder warranty, for further details visit www.thermacoil.co.uk
