Miss E first contacted The Plumbing Group when she discovered that she was no longer getting any hot water. Our engineers headed out to the property to find the reason for this. After thorough check on the boiler, they found that the time clock that controlled the heating of the off peak immersion had failed. As a result the wiring behind the casing had burnt out.
In order to fix this, firstly the burnt wiring had to be replaced. Secondly, the old time clock had to be taken out and a new one had to be put in. Once this was done, our engineer set the time clock for the customer. They set it to the correct times so that the boiler would heat in the most efficient and economical way.
The engineers kept Miss E updated throughout the repair so that she was aware of what was going on. The repair was carried out in under an hour and Miss E was extremely happy to have hot water again.
